A place for every age and a purpose for every generation. Each group grows in faith, character, practical skills, leadership, and mission.

Kindergarten – 2nd Grade

Pathfinders

A fun and engaging start to the journey. Pathfinders explore God’s creation, discover their purpose, learn foundational skills, and belong to a family.

3rd – 5th Grade

Alphas

Alphas are built to lead. They grow in courage, discipline, character, and leadership while developing real-world skills and a deeper relationship with God.

“Be strong and courageous... for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.” Joshua 1:9

6th – 8th Grade

Vertical

Vertical is for the next generation ready to go deeper. They build faith, develop focus, strengthen character, and discover their purpose while climbing higher together.

“I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward...” Philippians 3:14

High School · 9th – 12th

Apex

Apex is for those called to more. They are trained to lead, serve with purpose, make an impact, and multiply what God has placed in them.

COMMANDER STEVEN “COACH” MENA

FROM ADVENTURE CLUB
TO LEADING OTHERS

Steven Mena, known by many as Coach Mena, grew up with Adventure Club as an important part of his younger years. He credits Adventure Club and his father, Commander Robert Mena, with helping shape him as he grew into a young man, Commander, coach, husband, father, and community leader.

Steven is a graduate of the Victory Outreach Urban Training Center on the East Coast, an alumnus of East Los Angeles College and UCLA, and served for more than two years with the Peace Corps in Peru, working alongside communities and helping people build toward stronger futures.

Today in Whittier, California, he owns and leads CrossFit Whittier, where he coaches people from many different backgrounds, helps them pursue their goals, and continues investing in youth development.
